Olympic Opening Ceremonies live blogging: What were they thinking?

Well... not live, exactly... but live in respect to the time it is shown here in the US. Love watching the opening ceremonies in pure digital goodness...

The question of the night for the people on hand in this living room... Bad '80's pop music for the Parade of Nations? Who's bad idea was that? Video Killed the Radio Star?!? They even threw in a Michael Jackson tune. If they break out some Culture Club, the night will be complete.

The giant skiier guy was the hit of our household. Very nicely done.

I'm ready for some Skeleton. And some Snowboarding. Even some Curling will be fun...
